Sewing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember growing up surrounded by fabric scraps, runaway buttons, and the comforting hum of a sewing machine. What began as childhood curiosity slowly blossomed into a lifelong passion and eventually, IndiePattern, a business I poured my heart into.
I started IndiePattern in 2019 with one goal in mind: to share the joy of sewing in a way that feels welcoming, not overwhelming. When I first began sewing, most patterns felt like treasure maps without the treasure. That’s why I decided to design patterns that make sense even for first-timers — and feel like an invitation, not a test.
Of course, building a digital sewing business wasn’t all smooth stitching. From turning hand-drawn ideas into digital files to fighting with pattern software and photographing products with my cat on the fabric, it’s been a journey full of creativity, chaos, and plenty of laughs.

Thankfully, my daughter Andrea became an essential part of this journey. She handles everything digital from layout and photography to rescuing me from tech disasters and has helped make IndiePattern what it is today: a true family project built with love.
I’m proud that IndiePattern is more than just a pattern shop. It’s a place where creativity, learning, and community come together. It reflects what I care about most slow fashion, handmade joy, and empowering people to create garments that fit their bodies and their lives.
Also, I love coffee, cozy afternoons, and yes I’m proudly Team Cat (though my cat considers herself the real creative director).
